The big day may have come and gone, but keep in touch as we’re always up to something new and exciting.
Please share with ANY military affiliated family that might benefit from full tuition at an NC school. We’ve had veterans, spouses, and children submit great applications about how military service impacted them. This is a great scholarship that I am proud to help have wheels that aims to fill the gaps such as short on benefits, graduate school, new degrees, etc for those who have given so much.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world: indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
―Margaret Mead
Our Founder and President, Raymond Evans III, started this organization with the goal to help services members and their families. He is a U.S. Marine Corp veteran, Ohio native and Jacksonville, NC local business owner. He has been blessed with much success in this community and though he has donated to many charities and causes, he felt the call to do more to help his fellow man. Being a father himself he wanted to incorporate a project to help with educational needs as well. Along with his wife, Jeannette Quin Evans, and a few selected board members, they came up with the first charitable project for the organization, the North Carolina Fallen Service Member Scholarship. A scholarship that will be offered to family members of fallen service members that are in need of assistance for higher educational costs. We hope that this scholarship will be a great benefit to those it is awarded to and will help to fill in any gaps for costs not covered by Federal grants and other scholarships that are available. You can learn more about the North Carolina Fallen Service Member Scholarship Program on our Programs Page. The Elite Service Foundation will be enacting other charitable programs as we grow our resources and abilities. Our goal is to provide funding and eventually services to help all service members and their families in need of help with guidance, and support of all kinds.
